Packed with school holiday activities, a game of footy and even a trip to France–the next fortnight has something for just about everyone. Here’s what’s in store.
1. Adelaide Crows V Port Adelaide – Showdown
When: 6 July
Where: Adelaide Oval
South Australia’s in the spotlight as the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide meet again to battle it out in the Showdown.
Find out if the Crows will follow up with another victory against the boys in teal or if the Power surge ahead.

2. Bonjour Barossa
When: 7 July
Where: Barossa Valley
Macaroons, crepes and champagne – are you drooling yet? Make a beeline for Seppeltsfield in the Barossa Valley as the region celebrates French delicacies at Bonjour Barossa market.
Channel your inner Van Gogh during a painting class, make your own perfume or learn the art of cheese-making while the little ones entertain themselves in le petit play zone.

3. F-Art Times
When: 10–18 July
Where: Yorke Peninsula
Already scratching your head for ways to entertain the little ones these school holidays? Venture away from the big smoke to the Yorke Peninsula where the little ones can unleash their creativity through art.

4. Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival
When: 12–14 July
Where: Adelaide Showground
Snags and beer might make the ideal duo in summer, but we think they taste just as good in winter.

5. Umbrella: Winter City Sounds
When: 12–28 July
Where: Various locations throughout Adelaide
The phrase ‘music to your ears’ has never been truer. Musicians will turn up the volume for Umbrella: Winter City Sounds, performing at venues across Adelaide.
Live tunes from a range of genres – such as pop, rock and even metal – will be heard just about everywhere in the CBD, from pubs to libraries.
