Packed with school holiday activities, a game of footy and even a trip to France–the next fortnight has something for just about everyone. Here’s what’s in store.

1. Adelaide Crows V Port Adelaide – Showdown

When: 6 July

Where: Adelaide Oval

South Australia’s in the spotlight as the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide meet again to battle it out in the Showdown.

Find out if the Crows will follow up with another victory against the boys in teal or if the Power surge ahead.

Keep warm, donning a scarf or beanie in your team’s colours. You can stock up on merch at CROWmania at West Lakes or the Port Store in Alberton. Don’t forget to show your RAA card to receive 10% off.

Where: Barossa Valley

Macaroons, crepes and champagne – are you drooling yet? Make a beeline for Seppeltsfield in the Barossa Valley as the region celebrates French delicacies at Bonjour Barossa market.

Channel your inner Van Gogh during a painting class, make your own perfume or learn the art of cheese-making while the little ones entertain themselves in le petit play zone.

3. F-Art Times

When: 10–18 July

Where: Yorke Peninsula

Already scratching your head for ways to entertain the little ones these school holidays? Venture away from the big smoke to the Yorke Peninsula where the little ones can unleash their creativity through art.

The program includes art materials, refreshments, snacks and, most importantly, inspiration from South Australia’s stunning coastal regions. Can’t make it to this event? We’ve put together a list of fun activities to get stuck into these school holidays.

4. Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival

When: 12–14 July

Where: Adelaide Showground

Snags and beer might make the ideal duo in summer, but we think they taste just as good in winter.

Find out for yourself at the Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival where more than 80 exhibitors cook up a storm on the barbie.

After a day of indulgence, embrace that belly by entering the best beer bod competition or burn off the calories by rocking out during the festival’s new Battle of the Bands.
