Former St Dominic’s Priory College student Sabrina Ottaviano is just one of about 50,000 students who have attended Street Smart High since 2009.
A joint project between MAC and RAA with a goal to stamp out the road toll, the event aims to equip high school students, like Sabrina (pictured below), with the skills to stay safe on our roads.
“It really showed me the importance of staying alert on the road and how a silly mistake can have such dire consequences,” Sabrina says.
Celebrating 10 years
To mark the event’s 10th anniversary this year, we spoke to 10 teachers and students who’ve attended Street Smart over the decade.
Watch to see what students and teachers had to say about the lessons they’ve taken away from the event over the past 10 years.
